Elizabeth Bruce sings and plays piano, and is comfortable teaching classical and contemporary styles. Elizabeth teaches students of all ages, encouraging good vocal technique and musicality. Elizabeth also offers private instruction for those interested in developing their songwriting skills.
Elizabeth obtained her Bachelor of Music Degree and graduated with Great Distinction from McGill University in Montreal. She has comprehensive education in theory, ear training, music history, orchestration and ensembles.
She has studied classical voice with Beverley McGuire and Gabrielle Maes. Elizabeth has her Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music in piano.
Elizabeth is a singer/songwriter and frequent performer of pop and folk style music in Montreal and Ottawa. Elizabeth performs her own original music while accompanying herself on piano. Elizabeth’s first album, “As We Sadden Each Other to Sleep,” was released in 2007.
Her new album, “The Silent I Know,” will be released in October 2013.
